I think you need to ask the Tibetan people.. Why not hold an election/referendum there on whether China should remain, or leave?Ask Pol Pot's people.. >> ... they would say usa. Hmm.. this would completely contradict the self-stated political affiliations held by Pol Pot, an avowed agrarian reformer, in the shadow of Mao:en.wikipedia.org dialect is the difference between what folks speak in florida and main; I can understand, in general, what any American speaks to me (minus a few idiomatic expressions/phrases). This is not the case in China, as I understand it.. The existence of distinct dialects that are as different as Spanish is from French, is a clear indication that China is not as homogenous as you would assert. And if it's not homogenous, then it suggests that minority populations were dominated by larger ethnicities by force and incorporated into "greater china". We certainly know that the Tibetan language was completely different than Mandarin or Cantonese Chinese.. Therefore, it's difficult to assert some kind of commonality between China and Tibet.... so you say. No.. so say the Israelis. The policy is called "Land for Peace" and they have already demonstrated their good will by returning the entire Sinai (despite it's historical importance to Israeli "genetic" history).chinese would not need to vacate tibet even if most 'americans' vacate america. such be the truth of genetic kinship. You know.. we all share a "genetic kinship" somewhere in the history of mankind's DNA. So will that be a justification you rely upon when China decides to assert it's control over other nations surrounding it? Hawk
