Sales tax

I guess I never thought about a gas sales tax since it's never listed on the receipt and of course the price is posted with all taxes already included on a per gallon basis. That said it may be a net zero gain since consumers tend to drive less as prices go up - at least for awhile or buy an econo box and skip driving the truck like I did in 2008.
