Interesting way of putting it, but I agree.. Everyone has skeletons in their closet, historically speaking.

I just find it hilarious how TJ justifies the Chinese invasion of Tibet.

The one thing that makes the US unique is that we believe that human rights derive from our creator. Everywhere else, human rights are arbitrarily "guaranteed" by the altruism of the ruling elite. They can be granted, and taken away, at will, as TJ fully seems to admit.

Therefore, his perspective on "law and order" is dramatically different than that of the US. Law and order in the US, theoretically speaking, derives by consent of the governed, not the ruling elite.

Of course, many Americans have forgotten these ideals, but they are still embodied within our constitution and guide our fundamental perception of the unalienable rights of mankind.
