Yes.. the US conquered the various Indian tribes of North America, many of whom were constantly at war with each other as well. That was the era of "Manifest Destiny" and the majority of nations of the world grew their empires during the same period.[the chinese mostly minded their own biz and weren't into much conquering, and certainly did no attempt at genocide like the travelers to n.america, and not so much because they had no chance to do such, they did, but because they are not inclined to, per historical record] But the US [claims to have] stopped acquiring territory when the League of Nations came into being. And thereafter our policy was one of decolonization. The Phillipines wanted independence and they received it. Independence is available for every other US territory (Puerto Rico, Guam, Samoa.. etc) if they so choose it. [but yes, the usa backstopped the french and enhanced their atrocities in vietnam, but never mind that detail] THEY [early chinese travelers a/k/a tibetan] have the right to stay, or leave, their affiliation with the US and few Americans [later chinese travelers] would fight their attempt to leave [as long as international laws of border control are eased up by the british imperialist pig dog backed indians] Apparently the Tibetans don't have the right to end their affiliation with China [that is a lie. the earlier chinese travelers aka tibetans can leave tibet at any time] Of course, many Americans have forgotten these ideals [because most, including myself, never really understood them] And that sums up the difference between you and the majority of Americans. Your rights can be arbitrarily granted and taken from you, depending upon who's in charge [and so can mine, and i was recently really done up, made to fund someone else's gambits gone bad] Americans [chinese] , under the constitution, hold the ultimate power in determining what their individual rights will be. You have little, to no, power over your government. The American [chinese] people, when they choose to exercise it, have ultimate power over their government [over the past 6000 years] >> ... does that above sum it up?
