Yep, for some reason the mindset is entirely different when going short.
I can be long and totally underwater, yet still sleep at night (well....up to a point<G>.
BUT, have my short start to go against me and I fret and worry myself into a state of hyper-vigilance.

I guess it's because we know that stocks NORMALLY want to go UP. It's unnatural to go short so we feel uncomfortable.

That's why the charts are such a neccessity when going short.
The Candles were downright spooky predicting NSS. It was textbook stuff.
