Re: press releases..

Just for the record -- I was wrong....

>>>>FIDO -- I'll be disappointed with the marketing department if they don't play a first rate hand of media massage for the n.hand message. How could they object to priming the techwriter pump to get a little inertia going for their Comdex presence? Strategically placed info "leaks" to the right writers makes marketing sense, imho.<<<<

.....here I was expecting some well placed "media leaks" and instead we get this full blown Rainbow Room gig today and 16 or so press releases leading into the Comdex extraveganza. So much for mypredictions.

At least I was on the right track with the Mill-a-Month call ( I had help on it)

Remember, it's not the 10 million Zips drives that have sold...... it the ~100 million DISKS sold that are the story of this stock.
A million Zip drives a month means 8-10 million disks per month -- month after month.

I hope they exercise some restraint on non-significant press releases. Looks too much like hype, which does not rub off well with analysts.

On a different note, I'm surprised that no big electronic newsmagazines, like CNET or WSJ Interactive have not given any space to the Clik technology announcement. Is the "big announcement" falling flat in the media?
