I like that, however, the mention of Nixon closing the gold windows is a bit misunderstood. The fixed price of gold was below the market value and other countries were in effect "stealing" out gold.

What am I missing here------it's still the federal government issuing the money. How about the gold coins not issued by our federal government ----is Utah saying they will be accepted in transactions?

From what I have read Morgan stanley has indicated they will begin or may have already begun accepting gold in transactions.

"Utah took its first step Friday toward bringing back the gold standard when the state House passed a bill that would recognize gold and silver coins issued by the federal government as legal currency"
