I think most Chinese would favor permitting Tibetans to decide if they want to remain part of the PRC.

If they bear even the slightest resemblance to most Americans, their view is that "if you don't want to be part of us, don't let the door slap you on the @ss on the way out..

Probably why so many can identify with the Southern cause during our Civil War (state's rights, not slavery).

And I've never believed TJ was a Maoist/Communist.. From his own words, I believe he's more inclined to be a Fascist, where state power elite control Capitalist forces.

I think TBS is correct that this discussion has worn out it's usefulness.. I'll try and refrain from continuing it.
