Yes he may be weak/hurting for now, but you're assuming that he's a broken man, whereas I'm not ... remember the old Dylan song Temporary Like Achilles? If you want to talk pop psychology, his mother's Buddhist influence and father's green beret psy-ops practice sessions gave him more mental fortitude than most of us can even dream of. How much mental fortitude exactly do you imagine it takes to win three consecutive Jr Amateurs, as a black kid, and then three consecutive Amateurs, still as a black kid? Yes he's f'd up for now, but he'll very likely be back ... that's Jack's story and I'm sticking to it. <g/ng>
