...otherwise the actions [Bernanke] has taken can not be explained.

The actions he has taken were engineered to allow his owners in the financial oligopoly to reposition for the next penetration.

BTW, I strongly agree with you about the likely outcomes of hyperinflation and a depression. Stand by. -ng-

I will be shocked if the U.S. government does not impose a massive levy, perhaps retroactively, on the transactions of precious metals when the SHTF.

My wife and I have been brushing up on our bean recipes. Delicious stuff! I could easily live on beans, come what may. We have many years worth of our favorite varieties of dried beans vacuum packed and stored in a nice, cool, dry place.

World's simplest survival kit:

many years worth of dried beans
solar powered reverse osmosis water purifier
plenty of blankets
Glock 31

The bastards can terminate my power and water and we'll be fine, fed, watered, and warm. We'll wake up with the sun and go to bed with the moon. Electricity is not necessary. If anarchy prevails and thugs come calling, they'll have to discuss their issues with my friend, Mr. Glock. -g-

I have concluded he must have inside knowledge about a meteorite that is going to destroy the Earth in 6 to 24 months, otherwise the actions he has taken can not be explained.

heard an interesting interview, done by chris martenson, can't remember the interviewee.

did a study...asked people the following question:

here is some chocolate. you can have half now, or all of it in a week. which do you prefer? 96% of the people said, "half now." (i would've said, "all in a week.")

however, if they changed to question to say:

here is some chocolate. you can have half in a year, or you can have all of it in a year and a week. which do you prefer? 99% of the people said they'd wait a year and a week and take it all.

we've got monkey brains looking for near-term gratification.
