Old Oh has a double whammy case of melancholia tonight. First there is Saddam Hussein, a man who got his political start in life as a govt. assassin. A man whose psyche is perfectly comfortable with mass murder. And a man who feverently seeks the genocide of a people residing a few hundred miles distant. He is now perhaps four stories underground reading the wind and smelling out the probability that the U.S. will be a much less supported enemy than heretofore. And a man who is mucking up the Market! I swear that if I ever see a picture of him wearing blue (even a scarf), I'll dust off a copy of "Centuries" or "Oracles of Nostradamus" and study it with renewed interest. I would like to think we will nip his game in the bud, but mankind has a history of waiting until almost too late to deal with its despots.

Second, I missed that damned Annapolis shindig. Consequently I must go to bed at night haunted by unanswered questions. For instance is our leader, Doug R., a Bill Gates look-alike (a nerd)? Can Sergio leap over tall buildings? Are his legs pretty? Is Myron muscle-bound from too many trips to the gym? Does he have the letters G-O-D-O-T tattooed on his forehead? Is Radar really Doug's long lost twin brother? Does INSTOCK wear his heart on his left or his right sleeve? Does JKraft keep samples of sauce in her purse? Does Al Greenberg wear rolexes on both wrists? Is Peg Coleman really the nicest woman in the world, or does she have a dark side? Any answers would be appreciated. Anything really juicy can be E-mailed in confidence.

Morosely,
OH
