This was the story that imploded the tech boom in Westernized countries. Slowing demand on the telecommunications side rippled out as demand slowed for connectivity. It effected everything from fiber to chips to the growth of internet services. Let's see if this plays out in the press the same way. The market was in denial for about 9 months till the results started to show up in the result of companies further down the food chain. CSCO, INTC, MSFT never reached their old highs and companies like ADCT, TLAB, ANDW either were bought out at pennies on the dollar or were only shadows of their old selves.

To add to the equation. Decreased shipment of tablets equaate to decreased demand for bandwidth.
