Oil and condensate are synonymous. Practically all gas wells will produce a certain amount of condensate, even in small quantities. The location of the well and the quantity of the condensate determines whether or not it is feasible to market the condensate. You might like to look up distilate (distillation) in the dictionary for a better defination of condensate because some oil folks refer to it as distilate rather than condensate. I would think an off shore well would have to give up a large volume of condensate for it to be commerical. Otherwise the transportation charges to move the condensate to market could outweigh the price received for the condensate.
