DD,
It is human nature to be "protective" of your
position/stance. Lots of folks are in very
deep up to their eyebrows at higher prices
from the windfall profits they made on the
stock on the way up. Naturally they are feeling
their sack shriveling as they see the price
keep dropping. I feel for them as I have a
sizable stake also at $48, but I kept an
equal amount aside waiting for the correction
which I knew would occur.

All-Keep the faith, this is just a short term
correction that will pass and the stock will
reward your patience. I hope to be riding it
up soon from a lower "cost basis". Looking for
$40+ by Feb98.

Just my opinion,
BB

Dave,

>it's amazing how people believe everything bullish that analysts say when the stock is going up and question everything bearish they say when the stock is moving down. They are always right when the stock is moving up and wrong if what they say makes the stock go down.<

You are exactly right. But do you have any projection or quantified opinion on the price of AMAT at any specific time in the future?
