I have to agree. Many people bring more luggage on board than is even rational. Usually there is little space for people to put up even small bags due to the "carry on" hogs. A small bag with valuables or snacks is all that should be allowed on with the passenger.

Years ago,when I traveled to Australia - they restricted the weight of carryon.

SHHHH - they'll charge for that too.
