All those China dynasty started "for the people" and ended the other way "for the group that controlled at the top". ha ha ha ha... all democracy may use euphemism 'for the people' but really means for the 'club'.. from Greece to US.. all started for private club... sure as heck not for 'ALL'.. CCP stole the country then cleared space....... yes agree.. but they too will have to adapt or die.. OTOH exile to Taiwan may have forced those folks to remain truer to stated KMT principles.. who knows what would have happened had they kept the big prize.. CCP had needed to modify... but many many miles to go... next quarter century SB very interesting... prize is China's to lose... reconciliation would be good... but that is too far off to be practical now.. if rejoined not by reconciliation.. will not go well... IMO... Mainland will surely have lost their way.. I tend to look for seeds of good.. and not be bamboozled by pretend democracy world over..
