LTBH I think you have the best of quote worlds with Atrade datafeed for QT
The problems stem from the different symbology used on canadian data source sites eg having to add "US" behind all US stocks, and nothing behind Canadian stocks. Exactly the reverse of what US data sources require.
My source has been excellent up until March 1st, and now all the reliability has fallen apart as previous poster has stated.
Yahoo uses reverse symbology as well, being US based of course, and cannot be used for backfill on canadian based data charts without some major manipulation.
I used to have an account with Ameritrade and liked it very much, but when it was bought by TD, I had to give it up, as I already had a TD Waterhouse Canada account.
Sorry to be so longwinded, but this is my interpretation of the problem, relating to Canadian data sources.
If I could set up a TD Ameritrade account, believe me I would, to straighten out our mess.
