thanks to all. wow, diverse group- to say the least.

I sold all my semi's back in 2000. i love these stocks, but have a problem with the cycles. if you step back, they are driven by the economy so if the economy tanks, they tank, duh..

i can see a scenario where the "force is with us(bernanke)" for a while here and i like the fact that everyone here is very leery about events. nobody is pouring into stocks right now. everybody is hesitant. i like that. everytime I step into an elevator, people are staring at their 4G phones. but, but when the worm turns, watch out below. I want all my powder dry for that time. we are going back to 600's in the S&P. at that time i want to be able know what i am buying and this thread is great! really like the graghs. excellent stuff. bought a small position in COHU and TER the other day. Have had a 4% position in SMH for 1.5 years now. I think that if we can anticipate the "worm turning" we can make lots, tons of money. :)
