Mang: Do not get to excited about cable modems as security is a huge issue yet to be resolved. Everyone is common on a particular broadband drop which means you can look at everyone's box on the same segment! This was recently proven simply by using network neighborhood and viewing users data resident on their machines. Their is no spec yet for security and the tools are far from perfect. It is my opinion that eventually xdsl and its various flavors will be common. regards, n.p.
