3/18/11 Contest Update Not a fun week. But if the “Supermoon” Cassandras are correct we ain’t seen nuthin’ yet. news.yahoo.com At Friday’s close, the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up .84% YTD (vs. up 2.56% YTD a week ago) and the Contest median was down -1.93% YTD (vs. down -.2.58% YTD a week ago). The Nasdaq Composite Index was down -.35% YTD (vs. up 2.36% YTD a week ago). MCBIO’s portfolio (up 18.64% YTD) was steady during a very rocky week and remains in first place. RKRW’s portfolio (up 15.09% YTD) actually finished the week with a gain and held on to second place. ROCKY’s portfolio (up 13.11% YTD) moved into to the No. 3 slot. At Friday's close, 14 of the 38 Contest portfolios were in the black with 11 of the 38 beating the NBI. Below is the Top Ten list.
