Forgive me for making an incorrect judgement about your investment abilities based on one post written at a time of aggravation.

Best wishes,

I2

Hi Addi, >>However from the way you express yourself I can only conclude that you are one of the bears who have been praying day and night for this market to be shaken out just so you can say I was right!

Sorry, I have been a raving bull for the last 3 years and using margins to increase my gains, but smelled this downdraft and cleaned house and quit that game. I have a group of stocks in my long portfolio that I have held for years. I have hedged this portfolio until things calm down.

Any investor that has been around for a while has got caught on margins and payed for margin investing 101. I was feeling sorry for the fellow since I have paid my dues but, I looked at what I had done and learned a lesson. I believe in what George Sorros taught us, cut your losses if you have made a mistake so you can live to invest another day.:-)

Have a good evening, Joan

Good, I am glad to hear that you are not nervous and upset.

But you would probably do well to bank some of your profits.
