Hey Wharf, Long time no post to you guys... I am once again in 'get a handle on the where the world is going' mode.. On the battle front sure Mr. Bush got it going.. sadly he had 911 as a cohesion factor.. whether what he got done was long term positive is a matter for the future.. Economically he left Obama (who has surely been another run of the mill disappointment) with an already out of control economic avalanche.. it was just not recognized yet.. remember cognitive dissonance.. I'm of the mind that mostly politicians are ruled by the times and not the other way around.. I think this is mostly true.. and hence most fail.. tons of examples up here ...
