Liberals are left, centrists are in the center; they are not libs. Centrists are pablum eaters who stand for nothing, and yet for everything, at the same time, and yet do nothing to get us there but cast the deciding votes. They just hear an idea they like and either approve it or disapprove it. That's why they are called the "mushy middle." "I hope he is doing something.." I no longer hope; I've lost the audacity to hope. Obama killed it. "It is pointless to be a black mamba. Instead he is being a black cobra" I suspect, while growing up, that he was known as, "Hey, that black kid won't fight me". He can't strike like a mamba, a cobra, or a black widow. He has no strike. You have to be aggressive to strike. There are no strikes in hoops, and he took out the WH bowling alley.

Go see "the Inside Job" and then explain to me how Obama is "out playing" the right wing. Not one prosecution of the Wall street crowd. Obama could prosecute them. Even the The Tea party crowd would be Ok with that; and the Independents and Libertarians would celebrate it. Yet Obama not only let all the Wall street crooks go free, he has helped them get much stronger the last 2 years. Banks are more consolidated and engaged in more derivative gambling than ever. On 68 days last year goldman Sachs made over 100 million just trading. 6.8 billion. The 182 billion we gave to AIG was as much for Goldman Sachs. Geithner was the one who insisted that all of AIG's creditors get 100%! 14 billion went to GS's who then gave out large bonuses. Billions, but we cut 2.5 billion in heating aid to the poor. Strategy? I don't think so. Callousness would be the operative word here. Obama's administraiton is filled with Goldman Sachs dudes, not the least of whom is Summers. What about Obama's promise of no lobbysts or people who would corrupt the political process? <<Centrist are the ones who are liberals, through and through, but unlike the right wingnuts see things in a way where they want to win when everything is said and done. Obama is that centrist of all centrist where he ultimately comes out winning. I hope he is doing something about Libya, the union rights etc. And if he is doing something, he is surely doing it the way it needs to be done; with the ultimate victory goal in mind. It is pointless to be a black mamba. Instead he is being a black cobra which goes through a tactical withdrawal only to strike back with twice the force of viciousness.>
