That always amazed me. I do not get a thrill out of risking my life-lol.

I remember reading an article about the downhill speed contest years ago. The record is about 117 miles an hour I think.

The hill is so steep Jean Claude Killy would not go down it.

They were featuring the kid who did.

In juneau our ski slopes are really steep (mountains are old and rain has worn them down). When our kids compete against other countries, states, etc, they talk about how much easier the sking is.

One of four kids (only 30,000 people) won a silver? at the olympics for downhill a few years ago. Hillary Lindh.
