Thanks Fix, I always forget that shorts in effect increase a companies float and that the big players may be in and out several times in the same day. Its a little like getting a grip on geological ages. It takes awhile for it all to sink in.
Regards Walt
checked the ice on a local lake the other day and it had between 4-12 inches even with the mild weather we have been having. The otther day it was so nice I even got out prospecting.

Hey Fixer/Walt/and all those talking about shorters. If this group of investors/shorters happen to be gay would you call it a "Fruit Loop." I think you guys are all seeing "reds" under your beds with all this talk about organized shorting. Someone or some institution took advantage of the volume to offload a rather large position. Smackton has been a heavy seller at these prices for the past 30 days. Today's inflated volume merely allowed whoever is selling from Smackton to accelerate the process.

Another alternative: Given the current problems in the junior market; whoever is selling Winspear big time at these low prices probably needs to raise money to cover a problem caused by a dramatic decline in another stock. I can think of one major play that has just had the stuffing knocked out of it - Donner et al in South Voisey's Bay.This selling of Winspear is the "knock on effect."

Hi fix,
Man Fix, I think you are really, I mean really reaching with a theory like that. That is one almighty risk/gambel for a shorter/anyone on a ten cent swing in price! Plus, don't you remember yesterday's NR? The one where everyone was saying, "Oh baby, our ship has finnally come home"! Add to this 788,000 over 244 trades (thats the #trades stockwatch shows)an average of 3000 shares per trade. Ya big money...about 2000 bucks a trade! Not much money to be made on a trade, especially when u add your cost in and your cost out,on a ten cent swing? Gimme another theroy to think about. I wish I could figure this one out.

Respectfully

Frank M
