Mike,
Thanks for the response. Will commit this info. to memory.

Re: HP printer. Actually a built in Clik drive shouldn't increase the cost of a printer (or any other device) by more than about $75 since IOM is selling the internals to the OEMs for < $100. It is interesting to note that the current price projections for the internal and external Clik drives are almost exactly the same as the initial prices for the internal and external Zip drives were two years ago. Currently, internal Zips sell to the OEMs for < $50 and externals go for as low as $99. IOM has never been too concerned about making a profit on the drives. Their profits come from the high margin disks.

BTW, Amazon.com rules. Much easier to browse for books on the internet than it is to drive across town and stand in a stuffy store looking for books that are seemingly never in stock. I'm looking to establish a small position in AMZN stock as a speculative buy if this one is dragged down into the high teens or low twenties like I think it might be.

<You can share the same Clik with multiple devices.>

I like this. I take my 'flash' camera on a long trip. I am PC-less,
don't own a notebook. I take a bunch of pictures, empty them onto
my clik and take some more.

Looks like a segmented market to me. Maybe a Venn diagram with
Sandisk market overlapping with Iomega market. The area of
intersection is where they compete. In some cases they compliment,
as above.
