BO was eager to topple Mubarak regime which was a staunch supporter of US policies in the region and a major guarantor of relative stability but when it came to a proven murderer and peddler of terrorism, including the downing of the PANAM flight BO failed to do the minimum to support the opposition forces not to mention bombing Kaddafi headquarters in Tripoli and plainly eliminating him. You do not start a movement only to stop midway and let people be massacred. If you do not have the guts and power to take the heath do not start the fire. The repercussion of being a wimp as BO proved to be, is/are extremely dangerous in this situation. Egypt is in turmoil, 80 million people can be highjack by an extremist ruler now without fear of intervention, the Suez canal can be used as an economic weapon to dictate policies of other countries – This is exactly what Iran is trying to do. It is about time to realize the amateurish approach of BO whose action and stupidity are playing in the hands of those that wish no well to the Western World and against the vital interests of the US. By not totally destroying Saddam Hussein Army in Desert Strom at the request of Colin Powell, it had the direct result of another unnecessary and very painful war which did not end to date. What BO is doing is worse than that mistake many years ago, let him “bow” before a Bedouin made King by the Brits in private but not as the President of the US. Most people in the US do not even comprehend the meaning of this little act within the ME and Muslim world the same way that few understood the meaning of throwing a shoe at Bush. It saddens me very much when I see how little people on SI understand other cultures and world situations. Framing all within Western mentality is utterly wrong; scores of innocent people will pay with their lives for this type of tunnel vision which arises from outright ignorance or cluelessness.
