Its hard to verify other people's internal experience for obvious reasons. But how about outward signs such as lives transformed for the better? In addition, while there are variations in NDE reports, there are some common elements too. While such experiences are unverifiable for those not experiencing, why should there be common elements? ------------------------- Another thing - I see in another post you said: We are hard-wired for greed, anger ... the basic monkey traits. Perhaps we can evolve beyond them. I would like that. I agree we are wired for those things and others. But why do we realize that's a shortcoming? Do monkeys aspire to be less monkey-like? I don't see why they should. They are as they are.
