Scott, I agree completely with your post except for three little words, "rapidly growing niche". From reading the literature, I get the idea that 1000 leading edge photolithography tools have been and will be produced each year by the 3 1/2 major vendors. The DUV version will go from close to zero to close to 1000 in about 5 years, but a double from 500 to 1000 in about 3 years followed by relatively flat growth does not seem to satisfy the label of "rapidly growing" for a technology company. From reading an interview with Nikon management, I got no indication that Nikon was unhappy with this status quo. I have not seen much discussion of the fact that for every $425K item CYMI sells, their customer sells a $6-7M item. Cary
