Yeah -- no fly -- leads to more involvement. Gates happens to be right on this. I don't like oppression any more than the next guy -- but if we do the no fly -- they'll say you can't leave it at that -- then what? We've tried intervening everywhere and look what result it has obtained.

This is exactly the point - naive approach in overthrowing dictators without a clear view and understanding of the results.

Because those policies ten of thousands people will pay with their lives.

If you start something finish it or do not start it at all.

Trying to gain popularity points on the expense of others lives is no much different than being a ruthless dictator - as the results are the same - loss of innocent lives
