Scrapps, I hope you're right, but I'm having difficulty being very confident. I just have the feeling that 3Com doesn't have any reasons anymore to try to prop up the stock. The merger went through, due to the convincing road show this past Spring. The convincing road show and corresponding increase in share price also took care of the shareholder lawsuits. Next, the insiders sold millions of shares throughout the Summer. What reason is there left to prop up the share price? I'm thinking now, when the stock is battered anyway, is the time to really start cleaning the 3Com house. Who knows what reforms will be announced at the conference call?
