Stephen / Ethics

Sounds like you had a casual reply. Usually contacts won't document those kind of things. On the telephone, CEO's often casually mention subjects which are not to be taken as gospel. This information is not being based upon anything factual - just general observations or objective info.

In your case, whoever you talked with doesn't want the info passsed on as being factual and the disclaimer comment was probably for that reason. I wouldn't pursue the subject with the company. If you're establishing a rapore with the individual, don't blow the relationship.

Yup, 20 + 12 + 7 =39 + another watchlist of about 21 = 60 stocks I closely monitor. I probably follow another equal amount, but not closely.

Stephen, I suspect that nothing was revealed to you that was not public info, however the statement's probably put on it because of their Lawyers request and so that it doesn't get into the press as a press release which they would definately want checked by their lawyer and signed by a company officer.
