Ted, I hear Japan also has poor people. Surely they have an excuse to riot, do they not?

Even the street sweepers in Tokyo look like they take great pride in their work. Something you'll NEVER see among members of public employee unions.

I was once at a Tokyo hotel and asked one of the employees there where the Teppanyaki restaurant was. He not only told us in great detail (and in fluent English), he actually escorted us all the way there just to make sure we wouldn't get lost.

Try doing that here in the People's Republic of California. You'll likely get the following response: "No habla ingles." And they vote Democrat.
