At the risk of sounding critical, dont be so critical, it isnt "junk", this tread is full of facts, opinions some subjective, some objective and questions. That is in fact what I thought a discussion group was about. Some learn and some teach, Friendly advice from the north. ah, Chill out.

Starpooper -g- I have to agree with you on a few points but I think you were a little harsh. However, I understand what you mean about the cheerleading and this is a problem with any dedicated thread, the old forest for the tree's thing, sometimes people need a little reality check even if it hurts a little.

Any thoughts about what technology or products Newbridge should acquire to improve its offerings? I don't have a sense of where they are weak.

thanks,
dana

NN has major presence in U.S. but it is in proportion to the diversity of revenue worldwide. Is there any ideal place to be? NN has major revenue from all of the top carriers worldwide and facilities distributed worldwide to support the global business. The location of the "head office" is relatively unimportant compared to being close to customers from a sales, marketing and support perspective. The major R&D center for NN is in Canada as there is a good pool of talent in an attractive place for people to live.
James.
