U.S. officials are alarmed at how the Japanese are handling the escalating nuclear reactor crisis

I seriously doubt the US would be handling it any better if the problem were here. The US officials would then be saying "Who could have foreseen this..."

so far japan mkts are still fine.....
a 2% loss at this point is nothing
