I am very aware of Pascals wager. But Pascals wager actually makes my point about global warming, not yours.

Pascals wager says if you have a finite chance to gain infinity you should take it. Referring to believing in god.

Now look at that wager from a global warming point of view.

If there is a finite chance global warming can destroy human life (infinity) on earth, one should do everything to avoid it.
