It is easier said than done, aye. Obviously there are some things about which I am quietly passionate. I prefer to discuss these things in a way that leaves me open to being wrong. I have learned from many on this thread ... on both sides of the divide of ideas. Nonetheless I am sometimes tempted to say "darnit! It's like THIS." When that feeling comes to me, I take a big step back to examine why I suddenly felt so strongly. Sometimes it's because i am, well, right. Other times it has induced me to confront a previously-unexamined prejudice.
