Isn't revenue what the company takes in? Then the expenses are deducted and you have income. Income and profits are the same, aren't they?

So if a company says that they have $10,000,000 in revenue, it does not necessarily mean that they make a profit. What if the expenses are $12,000,000?

I would like to see expected income, not revenue. That is what drives the stock price.

Kodak has hundreds of millions (if not billions) in revenue, yet their current income (or profit) is negative.
