The ONLY radio station you can GET out there is ClearChannel AM. What BS. I grew up in and have lived much of my life in flyover country and there's loads of stations there.

The only states I haven't been in are ME, VT, NH, MI, MN, ND, SD, KS, MT, AZ, NV, and CA. The only place I've had trouble getting a wide selection of radio stations was in Wyoming.

And not a penny of public funding. If lib radio sells, NPR shouldn't have any problem competing with that on an equal footing.

Just make sure you increase your VOLUNTARY contribution to NPR a little bit and you can continue to save the poor rural people.

That is, if you can tear them away from watching MSNBC on satellite tv.
