Morning, Charlie: Yes, that's another one I forgot to add in my note to Mike. It's a little more troubling to me, as it directly affects the fundamentals of the sector, but I take heart from a statement that I'll have to paraphrase and leave uncredited, as my memory is starting to feel its age. At the end of a recent article about the Asian debacle's effect on energy demand, someone allowed as how '1.x billion Chinese people would wake up tomorrow morning unaware of U. S. market jitters, but still wanting an automobile.'* Time will tell. Uncustomarily, in the drillers and gear suppliers sector, I have faith. Must go earn. Lee *Latest Barrons??
