I've seen that link before; too much legalese. I'm looking for a Tab A goes in Slot B kind of explanation where I could walk through my daily account balance and understand if a position I have or have not taken could get me in trouble with the wrong market swing. Overall I have done pretty well using my margin long and short (except for one expensive foulup which taught me a great deal - at a price!). My goal is to learn to make money regardless which way the market is moving. Understanding margin nuances will be part of that.
