At this point in time Buffett's moves are mostly not interesting and not applicable to us.

Second guessing his decisions is also not very useful, since we don't really have a true understanding of his situation and constraints. Yeah, we know how much cash he has, what kind of businesses he is looking to buy, but none of us have worked in the area of those kind of numbers and businesses. It's very tough to know what's possible and what's not, what works and what doesn't.

I still think BYD was a person sale to Warren and Charlie and I think they have confirmed it in various interviews/Q&A. Does not make it a bad choice or bad deal, but also does not make it an analyzable financially deal. I can analyze BYD financials now and make my decision, but I can't piggy back by assuming Buffett made BYD decision based on financials at all.
