Yes, you are right. But why all the sudden this drop in the gold price again ???

The inflation numbers in the U.S. show low inflation. What the general illiterate public doesn't realize is that gold does best in deflationary times. The '29 depression is an example of this but most economists haven't seen this except in their history books so they don't believe it can happen. Gold rallied after the initial '29 crash and gold stocks soon followed. U.S. and other coutries are printing money like crazy to inflate the global economy but the washout in Asian currencies and markets is deflating trillions of dollars of assets.
