The state has not gotten the message. 5 Rhinos cutting a deal with Gov. Brown to extend the temporary taxes (cough, cough) another five years. If they get it on the ballot, the unions will buy enough air time to pass it. The prols (do they still use that word?) will vote it in.

California, the home of the very rich, the very poor, and not much in between, unless you live in Bakersfield.
