As you already noted, the shooter's foot was inside the arc, but once again, TWO completely inexplicable defensive actions in the final two seconds of a game, first the UNC player touching the ball as the premature-desperation shot was sailing out of bounds, and then the attempted goaltending.

Wash U over NC was my older son's big upset that he said would have catapulted him higher among 100+ kids in his school pool. He was jumping all over the couch with excitement that Washington had not one but two chances to win. I'm lucky he didn't break the TV the way that game ended.
