Of course there could be but the real number not publicly posted or bragged about is the back order - when the Prius was launched there was a back order and an after market for the cars created by the lucky few that got one. No such thing with the Volt so far.

Like what? If GM believes the car is a winner why are they not able to produce them? They said they would. What's changed?

It is one more gasoline powered vehicle. Not sure why you support it other than that's what the dear follower has told you to do.
