Exactly how many talks have we conducted between Khadaffi and the Rebs? Cease fires, truces, 2 state solutions? Evacuations of civilians? How much telephone time has Peace Prize winner Obama spent with K? As much as he spent with Mubarak?

Forget the fact he prolly couldn't do anything. If this is about humanitarian, that's what you have to do. Anything else is taking sides, and, this case, we have to hope that the side we are taking practices a more civilized form of war, cuz we don't really know what their tribe is like.

We have received 2 inches since last night. Yeehaaw! I went around and placed all of my first crop of Red Noodle long bean sprouts Friday, about 25 plants, and about 8 of the Green Long bean as well, and a handful of Blue Lake green beans, more Kale, and started soaking another bag of White and Red onion sets. They look shot like the last bags I put in a few months ago, but as soon as they got some water they recovered quickly. This bunch is going into my window box planters.
I started more of everything for the front yard too. I decided to see what I could boost the yard to produce this year. My food budget last year really got a shot in the arm from the gardens, since we ate a lot of soup and stew all summer and fall. The Redworm composting makes it nice. Worms in all of the beds now, and I place small stepping stones in the gardens so I can place food scraps under them for the worms to come feed on. They do like that, and so do the gardens.
Today I'm just kicking back listening to the rain.

on a different note, it seems like Russia is trying to stir the pot a bit. They disagree with all the news groups covering Libya, and Al Jazeera as well,
