Some will, although, it only covers the average daily commute for 75% of commuters and only then if it gets the rated mileage, which it obviously isn't going to do.

But I wonder how many will bother to plug it in at night? How many often will they simply "forget" or lose interest?

It is a stupid idea for a vehicle and the anemic sales suggest the public agrees.

Oh come on, you're smarter than that.

If you're on all electric power, you're not consuming even one gallon of gas.

Hence that "99 MPG" figure is completely bogus.
