I lived across the street from a family whose dad was a major during WWII. When he came home, he brought a plethora of Nazi stuff: cat o nine tails, a couple of Nazi helmets, a sword, Nazi swastika flags, guns, uniforms, etc. We used to play war with the stuff as kids. Nobody wanted to be on the Nazi side because they always were taken prisoner or killed - those were the rules. Sixty plus years later, the kids are still friends and we're in touch via email on a regular basis.
