One last point on your stupid claim US oil production will be normal distribution / gaussian function .... if it were, the area under the production curve on the right side (including future production) would have to equal the area under the curve on the left side - with the peak at 1970 being the center. That's per definition, if you had a gaussian function. But US production since 1970 already exceeds US production prior to 1970. Thus no gaussian distribution ... by definition.
